Feeing cold? Need to warm up? Why not rug up and head to the Royal Botanic Gardens for a Winter Discovery Walk .

Winter Discovery Walks begin at the Visitor Centre at Observatory Gate where you'll be met by a friendly, expert guide. The walks run for approximately an hour and a half and occur every day of the week except Monday. There are two walks each day. The meeting time of the first walk is 11am and the second is 2pm.

On the walk you'll be introduced to elements of the garden that come alive in the Winter months. Information about the diverse plant collections and the picturesque landscape features will be discussed. The guided walks are free and there is no need to book.

Enjoy a hot chocolate at the Observatory Cafe.

After the walk you can head to the Observatory Café in the gardens for a well deserved coffee or hot chocolate.
