This is a winter Blues Festival with heaps of performers
The annual Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival will again take place this July. This festival is established as the place to be for fantastic blues and roots music. It is also the perfect relief for a case of the Melbourne winter blues.
The Echuca Moama Winter Blues Festival has become a feature event on the Australian Blues calendar. On the last weekend in July, the top Australian Blues artists perform at Echuca Moama for a spectacular weekend of music and entertainment in the clubs, hotels, restaurants and streets.
This will be the 19th annual Echuca-Moama Winter Blues Festival, held from 26th July until 29th July, 2018. There will be a massive 50 plus blues and roots performers from all over the country and they will perform to crowds expected to be around 20,000.
The fact that the vast majority of the blues and roots music is free is still a major draw-card for this festival.
Echuca Moama is situated on the Murray River, two and a half hours north of Melbourne and you can choose from heaps of different accommodations to suit your style. The Echuca Moama Winter Blues Festival is the perfect event for any music lover of any age, and families are well catered for with children's activities.
Port Echuca is a historic port with a heritage precinct and these plus surrounding areas will resound with some music that will be well worth going to hear! You can walk from venue to venue to see your favourite artists. Come and join in the fun, but book your accommodation early as this weekend is always a sellout!
