Looking for something to do during this wet and wild winter rather than sitting inside and watching TV ? Why not pack the brolly and your coat, and head on down to the Adelaide Showgrounds where ten of the best exhibitions and shows are sure to tempt you with something for almost everyone.

Adelaide Roller Derby (13 June, 11 July, 8 August)

The Adelaide Roller Derby season continues at the Showgrounds this winter with two series rounds and a grand final in August. Not sure what this sport is all about, then why not head down to Wayville and cheer on the teams in Adelaide's oldest and largest roller derby league.

Winter Bridal Ideas Expo (13-14 June)

The Winter Bridal Ideas Expo is the best place to plan your whole wedding in Adelaide and brings the best of the best under one roof, where you can view products, speak directly to the experts, watch the Bridal Runway Shows, find the best deals and make your day the best ever day.

On the show floor there will be a vast range of products and services to make your wedding day that much more special. RM Williams Mid Year Sale (18-28 June)

The annual mid year sale at the Showgrounds provides a great outlet for picking up some RM Williams' bargains. Whether it be boots, belts or clothes, there will be specials on all items with plenty for everyone.

Adelaide Boat Show (25-28 June)

If you love boats, fishing and water sports you don't want to miss Adelaide's biggest Boat Show . The 2015 event will be a spectacular showcase of vessels large and small, products and accessories, services and expert advice, seminars and workshops, holiday destinations and entertainment.

From small to large boats, ski craft, kayaks, wakeboards, fishing and accessories, there will be lots to choose from and an opportunity for the industry to present its quality and expertise to South Australia's boating and fishing enthusiasts.

Swimming Pool and Spa Show (4-5 July)

Providing the best in water attractions for your home, the Pool and Spa Show is on the first weekend in July. Featuring pools, spas, ponds and anything else that features water and people, the show comes just in time to help you plan the summer water additions to your home.

Adelaide Beer and BBQ Festival (10-12 July)

To be held over three days in the historic Brick Cattle Pavilion and lawns at the Adelaide Showground, the inaugural Adelaide Beer and BBQ Festival is South Australia's biggest beer and cider party. The festival will be showcasing the best of South Australian, Australian and International Beer and Cider with over 30 exhibitors along with some of South Australia's best restaurants and chef's cooking up a BBQ storm in the beer garden.

Featuring local live music and DJs every day, degustation dinners, exclusive festival brews, rock star chefs and the presentation of the Royal Adelaide Beer and Cider Awards the festival is a nirvana for beer, cider, food and music heads from South Australia and beyond.

Sewing, Stitching and Hand Craft Show (17-19 July)**

The Building and Home Improvement Show is sponsored by Master Builders of South Australia and showcases the leading suppliers in renovation, building and decorating products. You can see and buy everything you need to renovate, build or decorate all at one location, plus there are lots of great ideas, info sessions, DIY demos and expert advice.

SA's best value sewing, quilting, craft show is back in 2015 in what is now an annual event. The 2015 Show will be an exciting interactive event for people who love to sew, quilt, scrapbook and make their own crafts. There are also lots of great ideas, info sessions, DIY demos and expert advice all for a low $10 entry fee, which also includes entry in to the Building and Home Improvement Show.

Gluten Free Expo (25-26 July)

Need a gluten free diet? Family member or friend with Coeliac Disease? Catering for those requiring a gluten free diet? Want more information about this special dietary requirement?

Then it is time to visit the inaugural gluten free expo in Adelaide to discover the gluten free options available, with around 50 exhibitors, an exciting speakers program, excellent cooking demos and fully gluten free café.

Let's Go Caravan and Camping Sale (30 July - 2 August)

The Caravan and Camping Sale is the largest undercover sale in Adelaide of outdoor products. Utilising all the major Pavilions of the Adelaide Showgrounds including Duncan Gallery and filling them with Caravans through to accessories, the 2015 Let's Go Caravan and Camping Sale is an event not to be missed!

Science Alive! (8-9 August)

The 10th annual Science Alive! show will be bigger and better than ever with new science shows, new hands-on attractions and, for this year only, the involvement of Questacon science presenters and exhibits from Canberra. And of course all the favourites will be back again with native animals, Stardomes, LED torch-making, robots, electronics, the Curiosity Show, slime, smoke rings, Daleks and over 50 science organizations offering interactive and fun activities.
