Summer may be over but there's no need to stay home and hibernate. Perth's annual Winter Arts Festival featuring music, theatre, comedy, dance and more runs from June to August. One of the more unusual events will be taking place on Fridays in July when an abandoned tunnel under St Georges Terrace is reinvented as the .

Some city workers will remember the pedestrian underpass to the Perth Concert Hall, which was built in 1973. The north entrance was closed in 2007 and the tunnel became storage space for the Concert Hall.

In 2015 the tunnel was opened for tours during the Open House Perth architecture festival. At the same time the Concert Hall began exploring the possibility of using the tunnel as a performance space. In April this year the tunnel was the home of White Noise Underground, a week-long event featuring virtual reality workshops, film screenings and music.

will once again transform this empty space into a wonderland to play, create and be entertained with multimedia projections, LED installations and live performances.

The will be open on Friday nights throughout July.

Don't miss this chance to visit this unique and quirky space. Entry is free.
