I love a tasty fatty chicken wing - especially when it is on the bone an has a delicious blue cheese, dill or honey mustard sauce on the side. Wings of Glory delivered this in spades.
Wings of Glory initially started in South Melbourne, but now also has a city store on Little Lonsdale Street, not far from the Elizabeth Street tram stop. The owner told me that the idea was originally inspired by a trip to America.
They have a special deal on Wednesdays - from 5pm onwards you can eat wings for $1. They also have a competition for people who can manage to eat the super hot wings and survive. I haven't tried that but I do think it would be fun.
The salad on the side was delicious and I'll definitely be back for more.
