Not Just Your Ordinary Chinese Meal Here
The Wing Soon Restaurant is an icon in Noranda and it has been there for many years.
They have a vast menu of many different dishes, and call themselves a "Chinese Cantonese" restaurant. Tucked behind the Noranda Shopping Centre, there is nothing fancy about this restaurant, however their food is always good.

Ranging from fegetarian, seafood and duck to chicken, fish, noodles, specialities of the house and more, there is something for everyone here.
The place itself is not austere with the entrance being next to a take-away and the tables having white plastic tablecloths. Although the decor is plain, the staff are always friendly and cheerful and speak excellent English. The service and dishing up of meals is done in a timely and friendly manner.
This is the front Entrance of the Restaurant
This was my second visit to this restaurant as I find it easy to park, casual and enjoy the food and the variety.
We decided on a duck dish, a noodle, dish, and a chicken dish as well as some boiled rice. This was all brought out virtually together, and as often happens at Chinese restaurants, we all shared!
The first dish was sizzling Mongolian chicken, costing $13.20, and served at the table with all the steam rising, as per the photos, hence it's name "sizzling"!

The next dish was the fried duck with plum sauce and this cost $17.20. There was quite a lot of duck on this with a very sweet, thick sauce, and the duck was moist and tender. There was some crunchy capsicum in amongst this meal and the flavours were mouth watering.

The last dish was Mee Goreng (hot) and this one cost $12.50. It had some large prawns on the top and was also tasty with thick noodles and a few vegetables throughout.

They also have "Specialities of the House" and I have yet to try any of these.

They have a Facebook page and more information can be seen there.
