It's not hard to spend all day eating great food and sampling different wines in the gorgeous Hunter Valley, most of us have spent a day or weekend hapharzardly zig zagging between wineries, little shops selling locally produced delicacies, restaurants and everything we find in between. And it is loads of fun. But if you want to take your Hunter Valley adventures up a notch, Calais Estate Winery have a unique a series of Long Lunches planned throughout the year.



Your adventure begins with a glass of sparkling wine and canapes followed by a tour of the inner workings of this boutique winery. You will also get to meet the family behind the brand for some expert insight into what goes into making a great wine. Afterwards, you are treated to a 5 course degustation menu at the renowned Verandah Restaurant where you will also get to **sample the Estates extensive boutique wine list.

The is held monthly (With the exception of June when they will be held weekly) and places are strictly limited to keep the event intimate. Duration is 4 hours (11am - 3pm) and tickets are $165pp (or $145pp for Calais Wine Club members). Upcoming dates for 2019 are as follows :

22nd June / 29 June / 27 July / 10 August / 14 September / 19 October / 23 November / 7 December
