It is hard enough to decide which show to punt on during Adelaide's iconic Fringe and even harder to agree on which venue to visit first. The Garden and Gluttony are popular and often crowded which is great for fringe business but sometimes frustrating when you don't feel like lining up for a food truck bite and a drink. Luckily, you don't have to look far for other small and delightful fringe venues. Across the street or through the beautiful botanic garden, you will find "WINED" which is the National Wine Centre's venue. There are some great shows on offer and the venue is extremely comfortable and well air-conditioned There is a gorgeous outside area where you can easily find a table and the wine list is, well, great.
WINED is well placed for a Fringe evening out and a great place to begin, maybe share a platter and have a glass, check out a show while you are there or head next door to the Noel Lothian Hall. You can always venture across the street to the craziness of the more popular venues.
