Looking for something a little 'wild' for the long weekend? Head to Healesville Sanctuary's annual food and wine event . Queens's Birthday weekend 10 - 12 June 2017 - 11am to 4pm, be at Healesville Sanctuary, Badger Creek Rd, Healesville. Thanks to the Sanctuary teaming up with Yarra Valley icons, you can have a gourmet experience with a wild difference.

Indulge in the best the Yarra Valley has to offer while you cosy up to warm open fires and relax with live acoustic music. Not forgetting the 'wild' times, meet the furry, feathered and scaly friends in serendipitous animal encounters, thanks to the keepers roaming the grounds. There'll be 5 event spaces showcasing a line-up of local wineries, craft breweries and hearty winter food, including tastings from De Bortoli Winery, Napoleone Brewery & Cider House, Punt Road Wines and more! Set against the backdrop of the Sanctuary's stunning bushland setting, undercover pavilions and grassy picnic lawns, go ahead and sample and purchase hearty winter food and a drink to go with it. On Saturday only, visit the Four Pillars gin pop-up bar on the scenic Tasmanian Devils boardwalk.

Tastings are included with general admission and will be held at the Australian Wildlife Health Centre Lawn, the Reptile Pavilion, Robert Eadie Pavilion, World of the Platypus and the Koala Picnic Lawn.
