Get away from studies, work or the daily hustle and bustle
Are you looking to get away from studies, work or the daily hustle and bustle of everyday life? A quick and easy escape would be to drive up to Hunter Valley. Hunter Valley is just 2 hours away from Sydney CBD. It is a winery heaven with beautiful scenery.

Idly drive up to Hunter Valley around 9.30 am in order to arrive there by lunch time. Bring along few fun people for some good company. When you arrive at the Hunter Valley, drive straight to the tourist information centre. There you can get a comprehensive map of the valley for free. The map clearly mentions the wineries with restaurants as well as chocolate and cheese factories. The Hunter Valley Gardens have a cellar restaurant where you can have a sumptuous lunch with good selection of wines. There are also few other visitor shops in the garden that you can drop by at. Besides, there's a pretty garden that you can opt to walk in. It's best to leave this one out as this escape is a short one.

I recommend you visit a few wineries to taste the wines. Drop by at Pokolbin Estate Vineyard, Moorebank Vineyard Estate and Bimbadgen. Bimbadgen also has a cellar restaurant which serves fabulous food. The scenery throughout the valley is breathtaking. This is a good opportunity to snap some photos with a beautiful background for free. So don't forget to bring your camera along. After this trip, you will feel refreshed and fully energized.
