Eclectic wines coupled with a light lunch & stellar views

2022 Sunday Sessions

There is a special magic to enjoying a bottle of wine in the great outdoors, en plein air, as the French might say. Follow a meandering trail to a brilliant vista and delight in a brisk walk across the ridgeline. The confluence of beautiful natural environments and an incredible selection of eclectic wines coupled with delectable light lunch provisions and stellar views sum up the Wine Hike Experience.

Gift certificates make great gifts to your outdoor-loving friends!

To book your hike go to:

Sunday 27 February, Ripe - Brownhill Creek

Sunshine begets bulging grapes bursting with flavours both deeply delicious and profound to match stunning city views.

Sunday 27 March, Effervescent - Beaumont Loop

Catch elegant tongue-tingling bubbles and sip scintillating still wines by the creekside in this most stunning riparian environment.

Sunday 10 April, Abundant - Chamber's Gully

Awaken the senses to the largesse of the fruit of the vine, Nectar of the Gods, from this rounded knoll, commanding picturesque views of the city.

Sunday 29 May, Grounded- Greenhill Road

Taste the beauty of earth & vineyard-influenced wines that each reflect the magic of their delicious patch of dirt called 'terroir' and convene along the Wine Shanty track at a rustic ruin.

Sunday 26 June, Robust - Carrick Hill

Breaking out the silkier wines & big, bear-hug warming reds that speak of comfort in the cooler months. Following the Yurrabilla Trail to an incredible rocky outcrop overlooking spectacular city views.

Sunday 3 July, Conundrum- Belair National Park

What makes up a 'field blend' and why do Merlot and Cabernet make such good bedfellows? How does the art of blending create wines where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts? Sometimes wine seems like a puzzle, but we will play with the pieces to make sense of it all as we revel under the gorgeous tree canopy on this nature rich walk.

All hikes begin at 11am from various locations and should finish around 3:30. A good level of fitness is required with average walk distances from 4-6 kilometres with some uphill trails.
