The organisers of the Wine and Chocolate Festival clearly asked a large number of people to name their favourite food and favourite drink, then put the two together.

Domaine Asmara are hosting the ultimate dream festival on Saturday 30th April 2016 at the Seaworks Pier located at 82 Nelson Place, Williamstown.

Don't drive. Have someone drop you off or make your way on public transport because you are going to want to stay all day. The indulgence starts at 11am and continues until 6pm. There will be samples and sales, live entertainment, food and even Master classes on offer.

Anticipate up to 50 wine, beer, cider and liquor suppliers from the Heathcote wine region. Wait... did you say you prefer a cocktail? You're in luck. Sample a signature cocktail or coffee from Liquid Infusion; you won't be disappointed.

To fully appreciate the 'intricacies of wine making' and round out the experience, take a Masterclass in wine appreciation with industry renowned wine expert Robert Hicks.

Alongside the alcoholic offerings will be a premium showcase of cheese, olives, gelato, coffee and, of course, chocolate from many local producers, and to really make this a match made in heaven, try out some of the Food Pairing Stations.

Some of the exhibitors will include Bretzel.Biz, A Touch of Spain, Black Jack, Burke & Wills Winery, Chambers Rosewood Vineyards, Ellis Wines, Noble Red Heathcote and Scotchmans Hill, just to name a few. A full listing of exhibitors is available on the website.

People of all ages are welcome at this family friendly event. Bring the kids because there will be activities on offer for them, along with popular food trucks Sliders on Tyres and the Brulee Cart.

Outdoor entertainment will feature DJ Mimi, while indoors you can enjoy Jazzobell Deux-London Connection playing a selection of jazz and original songs.

Pre-purchased tickets are slightly cheaper. Purchase adult entry online for $20 instead of $25 at the door.

A secondary ticket option is the 'All-in' ticket, which includes entry plus 5 tokens and a polycarbonate glass. Adult All-in tickets are $35 pre-purchased or $40 at the door, and a family ticket is $65 with additional children $10.

Additional tokens are $2 and glasses are $5.

Tickets can also be purchased by phoning 0425 431 844.

There may be some onsite parking and limited, timed and ticketed surrounding street parking.

Williamstown is located 9km South-West of Melbourne.
