Local and international wine and cheese tastings
Wine and Cheese Lovers' Paradise

On Saturday March 17th, in an iconic heritage listed building in Melbourne, Meat Market in North Melbourne will be holding a Wine and Cheese Festival. For the sixth year running, a great selection of wine and cheese from over 30 different local and international producers will be there for your tasting. Due to the festival selling out the last two years, this year the festival will be split into two sessions for you to enjoy comfortably. The first session runs from 10.30am to 2.30pm and the second session starts from 3.30pm- to 7.30pm.

Learn about cheese making while tasting wines throughout the day. There will be demonstrations, including organic wines from Mount Avoca, and a live demonstration experience of mozzarella making by Giorgio Linguanti from That's Amore Cheese.

Live Music
Enjoy live jazz music on the main stage and head to the courtyard area where the DJ will be playing beats all day long.

Grape Stomp Comp
If you can't ever have too much wine and cheese, then enter the Grape Stomp Comp where every contestant gets a bottle of wine. If you've got some stomping in you, then first prize is 6 bottles of wine, second prize is 4 bottles of wine and third prize is 2 bottles of wine. This competition will run at 1pm during the first session.
