Fresh from winning the B Grade Championships at the Queensland State Band Championships in June for the second year running, Windsor Brass have two free concerts coming up in Brisbane parks in August and September.

Get your groove on with their Legends of Swing show featuring classic swing and jazz numbers at New Farm Park on Sunday 7 August from 2-3pm. If your musical tastes are more contemporary, get along to the Brisbane Botanic Gardens at Mt Cootha on Sunday 4 September from 2-3pm for Botanic Boogie.

Windsor Brass Band

Windsor Brass is the younger sibling of the multi-award winning Brisbane Excelsior Band and has become well known in Brisbane for its fun and entertaining park performances, conducted by Michael Purtle.

The park performances are free, so bring along your picnic rug for an afternoon of toe-tapping tunes and check out the Brisbane Excelsior and Windsor Brass homepage for other upcoming performances or to find out more.
