Winders Park on the Gold Coast overlooks beautiful Currumbin Creek only a few hundred meters from its mouth. This beautiful park has a range of facilities for children and adults, and is a popular point of access to Currumbin Creek for water lovers.

Winders Park has three quite varied playgrounds. The playground near the centre of the park has the most advanced climbing equipment for older children and includes a child and a toddler swing (set over soft-fall surface), climbing equipment, monkey bars, and a platform with a fireman's pole.

The playground to the west of the parkland is simpler, but modern. It includes a climbing wall, a platform, other climbing equipment, and a slide.

To the east, there is a small playground with a climbing wall, slide, and fireman's pole.

There are a number of picnic tables and BBQs placed strategically around the playground. Many of these are shaded by the large, beautiful trees.

Winders Park has a sandy beach along the edge of the creek at low tide, and has beach showers installed.

This park is popular with people who enjoy non-motorised water sports, including the local surf life-saving club members, kayakers, and standup paddleboarders.

There is also a boat ramp for motorised water craft, with a fish gutting table.

In all, Winders Park has something for everyone. These pelicans love it here and seem to enjoy overseeing all the activities. Why not come and see what they love about it?
