As you approach the Winbi Resort a sign points to the entrance, but your eyes go beyond the sign as you look upon a stretch of the Murray River with houseboats moored along the near and far bank.


The resort boasts 50, one, two and three-bedroom units, some privately owned.


The units are set among 18 acres of manicured gardens which all units look out upon. Some units have river views.


All units are self-contained and are not serviced daily. They are all clean and comfortable. Tea and coffee ingredients are supplied.


With its location on the bank of the Murray River a private boat launching ramp is provided for guests. Spending a little time riverside you are often rewarded with a passing parade of speeding boats, with and without water skiers and at a more sedate pace, houseboats.




Other facilities at the resort include two pools and a heated spa, tennis courts, BMX track, playground, BBQs and a games rooms.

The well treed and bushed gardens attract a variety of birdlife.


Wildlife also visit Winbi. Rabbits and an occasional hare are often seen, as are kangaroos. It is not uncommon to wake of a morning to see a kangaroo feeding on the lush green grass that is part of the landscape.


We have stayed at Winbi many times over a number of years and always look forward to returning.

On arrival guests are presented with several vouchers: a 20% discount with Murray River Paddle Steamers and complimentary tea & coffee at the Beechworth Bakery in Echuca.


Presentation of your key tag at the Moama RSL and the Rich River Golf Club will give you a 10% discount on meals.

The tariff for a one bedroom garden unit is $120 per night, with a two night minimum stay.

Moama is just over the Murray River from Echuca.

If you want a quiet, relaxing, 'in the bush' feeling without actually going bush, Winbi is for you.
