Cats the Musical began when Andrew Lloyd Weber embarked on the creative and ingenious task of taking T.S. Eliot's individual comedic and lyrical poems, threading them into a story and bringing them to life with exquisite music and dance. The end result demonstrated the sheer brilliance of Andrew Lloyd Weber and was nothing less than magical.

It is easy to forget the actors in the musical are humans as the range of unique personalities of the cats are expressed with astounding authenticity. The variety and diversity of loveable feline traits are captured in the characters, including the aloof, regal, mischievous, graceful, curious, rebellious, elegant, dignified, timid, energetic, cheeky and naughty. There are shabby and tabby cats as well as old, wise, respected and dignified characters. Each cat works it's way into your heart and it is difficult to pick a favourite.

They say a cat has nine lives, well, Cats the Musical is on it's second life. Andrew Lloyd Weber planned to bring the musical back for a short season in London in 2014, but as a testament to it's timeless appeal, this family favourite has taken off again with huge success.

These numbers tell the story of this multi award winning show…...
