Going to the football can be an expensive experience. Not only do you have to take into account the cost of the tickets, but you also have to consider transport to and from the game (public transport or petrol money), the cost of any food or drinks you buy and/ or any merchandise you buy to show your support for your beloved team. Of course you get to experience the thrill of the game, and be a part of the exciting atmosphere, but for a lot of people (members included), going to a game and watching the footy live is an expensive treat that might only be indulged a few times throughout the season.



If you often shop in Geelong however, and you are a fan of the town's AFL team, you have the opportunity to win an Ultimate Geelong Cats football experience. There are two prizes to be won (each valued at over $1700), and entering the competition couldn't be any easier. All you have to do is spend at least $30 in any store within Market Square Geelong (up until Saturday 28 June), and bring your receipt into the Centre Management offices. They will then enter you into the draw to win.



But don't think that you're only entering a competition to see the Cats play live. No, there is a lot more involved in these prizes. The winners, along with four friends will get to see the Geelong Cats V Western Bulldogs match on Sunday 6 July at Simonds Stadium, Geelong. But they won't be sitting in the stands with all the other fans- they will have prime panoramic viewing, sitting in reserved seats in an open air box. Better yet, the winners and their friends will be catered for, which means no long queues at the food vendors. The prizes also include entry into the exclusive Centurions Lounge for pre-match, half-time and post-match entertainment and nibbles. There will be cocktail food served in the Lounge before the match begins, as well as beer, wine and soft drink.
