The Geelong Performing Arts Centre (GPAC) is showing Monkey Baa Theatre Company's musical adaptation of 'Pete the Sheep', a quintessentially Australian picture book by Jackie French & Bruce Whatley. As part of the Central Geelong Kids Fun Program, Central Geelong Marketing is generously giving away 3 family passes (4 tickets) valued at $68 each to the Family Magic show 'Pete the Sheep'.
Pete the Sheep is a musical comedy delivered by 4 performers playing shearers, dogs and sheep. It explores the emotional lows and highs of the central character Shaun, a shearer with a sheep for a helper instead of the usual sheepdog in the town of Shaggy Gully.
This production which brings to life Jackie French and Bruce Whatley's picture book is the result of Monkey Baa's creative association with Jackie French, one of Australia's best loved authors, and the direction of Jonathan Biggins. The 50 minute musical premiered at the Lend Lease Darling Quarter Theatre in April 2014 before embarking on a tour to 54 venues in every state and territory of Australia.
The generous tickets from Central Geelong Marketing is for Saturday, 30 August 2014 at 12pm only. For your chance to win, simply click here and fill in your contact details below by 12 midnight on Thursday, 21 August 2014. Visit the GPAC website for more information about the show.
