.Direct from its sell-out Melbourne Festival season at Dancehouse, Still Point Turning will see choreographer Linda Luke in a solo performance that combines dance, video, sound and installation to reflect on the fragmented and transient nature of contemporary culture.
Inspired by T.S. Eliot's Burnt Norton, the production is a 'danced poem' exploring time, stillness and turbulence. Juxtaposing our obsession with 'clock time' against the nature of cosmic time, Still Point Turning explores the profane world of schedules, alarms and itineraries and the grand arc that is our life – birth, death, growth and decay.
To go into the draw to win 1 of 2 double passes to Still Point Turning on Friday 28th November 2014, all you have to do is send an email titled 'Still Point Turning' to firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know in 25 words or less why you want to see the show.
