It's arty, it's crafty, it's gorgeous
Most market aficionados will have visited Willunga for the Quarry Market, running since 1986, or the Farmers' Market; in operation since 2002. Did you know there is a third Willunga market tucked away inside the Old Show Hall?

Here all the clever crafters congregate out of the wet winter weather. You can find the Willunga Artisans displaying their creations on the second Saturday of the month. It coincides with the Willunga Quarry Market. The Willunga Farmers' Market is held every Saturday, so plan your visit to be on the second Saturday of the month and you will gain admission to three markets for the price of one. This price incidentally, is free!

The beautiful things on display are made from glass, wood, textiles, paint, paper and clay. You can admire clothing, printmaking, jewellery and illustration. The stall holders are happy to chat about their creations, which range from painted greeting cards to framed illuminated initials, beaded bracelets to sumptuous silver earrings and fancy shopping bags to something-different skirts.

The Willunga Artisan Market aims to promote the development of local art and the artisans displaying their work are all based in the Onkaparinga and Fleurieu regions.

The Artisans Market runs from 9am until 1pm inside the Old Show Hall. Here you can escape the hustle and bustle of the neighbouring Farmers' Market and spend time admiring and acquiring a special gift, a feature piece of jewelry or a bright hand knit.

All three Willunga markets are within close walking distance of each other. It is easy to park in the street. Take plenty of shopping bags and enjoy a morning exploring the myriad of local delights.
