After a sudden postponement in July, November is now the time to head south to enjoy the authentic atmosphere of a real country carnival! The
Willunga Almond Bossom Festival is back for 2021 at the Willunga Recreation Park on the weekend of the 13th and 14th of November.
It promises to be a family-friendly weekend packed with competitions, displays, markets, music, rides and much, much more. The big news is that their fireworks display is back again - don't miss it on the Saturday night.
Join in with circus performers and learn some new tricks, pet the baby animals, win a prize at the sideshows, and enjoy your favourite carnival rides.
All the fun of a local country show is included. There'll be almond cake judging and an almond cracking competition and performances and displays from local artists on the oval. Local musicians will be providing music all weekend.
You can meet the almond growers and learn about almonds in the
Almond Hub and browse a range of market stalls. Look forward to enjoying food, wine and beer ranging from traditional carnival food to pizza, burgers, Asian dishes, and healthy snacks. Local brewers will be on hand with tap beers, and you can taste a range of McLaren Vale wines and cider. Come along on Sunday to enjoy the heritage and classic car display.
The Willunga Almond Blossom Festival is on again on Saturday 13th November and Sunday 14th November. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for children and concession holders. Family tickets (up to four children) are $25. Kids under 5 are free. It's recommended that you
pre-purchase tickets here when bookings open in September. EFTPOS is only available at the gate.
Visit the festival website for more information.
