Kicking off the festival is a family fair day weekend on Saturday (29th) and Sunday (30th). There will be wall climbing, face painting, carnival rides, market stalls, etc all weekend. In addition, you can also expect an almond trail, almond cookery competition, cooking demonstrations and fireworks on the Saturday and a street parade, colouring competition, almond cracking competition, Splodge craft and farm animals on the Sunday. Entry is $7 per adult or $20 per family on each of the days.
Then on Monday (31st), Tuesday (1st) and Wednesday (2nd), there will be festival lunches on offer. You can enjoy a three-course meal, starting with sweet potato & almond soup, for $25 per person. A takeaway menu will also be available for those who prefer.
