For movie buffs who have a passion for Nostalgia Films, Willsy has just the cure with her new season of nostalgia films for those lovers of classic movies. So once again you can enjoy some of the most memorable major films that are bound to be popular with most movie lovers.

What helps make this exciting and outstanding selection so spectacular is each film is digitally re-mastered and each is a classic from various genres and is bound to appeal to movie buffs of all ages. These films will be screened in perfect condition for the first time in decades.

The season consists of some of the most popular and successful films from various genres including drama, adventure, thriller, war, action to romantic comedies. You will see some of the major stars of yesteryear not only from Hollywood, but around the world, including Orson Welles, Marlene Dietrich, Tyrone Power, Cary Grant, Judy Garland, Fred Astair, Sidney Poiter, Katharine Hepburn, David Niven, Walter Pigeon, Greer Garson and Joseph Cotton, and the list goes on. There are too many famous and loved stars to list everyone, but seeing is truly believing.

The Titfield Thunderbolt is a 1953 British comedy film about the efforts of a group of villagers trying to keep their branch of the rail line operating after British Railways plan to close it.[BREAK]

TRAVELS WITH MY AUNT (PG)

Directed by Billy Wilder this 1957 American courtroom drama film is set in the Old Bailey in London. It is based on Agatha Christie's play by the same name with elements of film noir. Tragically Power died from a heart attack after a a pro-longed dueling scene while making the movie Solomon and Sheba. [BREAK]

THE BISHOP'S WIFE (G)

This 1947 romantic comedy about an angel who helps a Bishop (David Niven) with his problems with funding the construction of a new cathedral. Cary Grant plays a suave angel who has been sent to spiritually guide the Bishop and his parish. The film was nominated for Best Director, Best Film Editing and Best Music.[BREAK]

At every Wednesday Nostalgia Session a $10 Holiday Wonders Voucher will be added to the prize pool, and one name will be drawn from the lottery before the screening of the film. If your name is drawn and you are attending that session, you win the prize pool. If no-one wins, the prize pool is carried over to the next Willsy's Choice Session and a new name will be drawn at that session.

Willsy's Choice Sessions commence at 10.30 am and include free tea and coffee on Wednesdays, plus the Wallis Nostalgia Quiz.
