Want to relax with family and friends? Disabled facilities
Are you looking for a beautiful place to wind down, relax and enjoy some quiet time with or without family?

Well, look no further! We've discovered Willowview Farmstay, just out of Brayton on the border of the Southern Highlands and Tablelands of NSW. It's an easy drive just over 2 hours from Sydney, 60 min from Wollongong and only about 90 min from Canberra.

Staying at a farm is a wonderful treat especially for those of us living in the city! Explore and have some space around you, while enjoying the tranquillity of country living.

Willowview Farmstay is set on one hundred and thirty acres by the Wollondilly River and your accommodation in the late 19th-century cottage Ferndale Homestead offers uninterrupted views of the property with its paddocks, old barn and main farmhouse. The cottage has 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms (one of them with full disabled facilities), 2 living rooms and a kitchen. It is the perfect place to spend a weekend or a week with family and friends.

One of the best things for me in the colder months is to sit by an open fire and that's exactly what you can have at this cottage. One of the bedrooms even has a fireplace.

So soak in the sun anywhere around the house, enjoy a fire outside and if it's too cold cuddle up inside by the fire, listing to some music, play games, snooze or read a book.

There are plenty of activities to take part in on the farm such as feeding the farm animals, bushwalking, fishing, canoeing, meditation sessions and healing for animals & people, just to mention a few.

You can also stay in the Fairy Meadow Cabin a little further up the track. It is a beautiful cosy little family home with 2 bedrooms, one bathroom, a living room and a kitchen. The area is fully fenced as well, so perfect for the smaller kids to roam around as well and/or to bring your dog with you.

We loved the deck soaking in the morning sun with our coffee. The views are amazing and one relaxes instantly.

On our way down we decided to go the back way via Macquarie Pass, through Robertson and then head to Mittagong (for our last food and drink items). But best of all is the beautiful Eden Brewery! Make sure to stop here for some amazing beer. The Owners and brewers donate 10% of their profits to Oxfam and they have chosen to use 100% green renewable energy in their brewery! It doesn't get much better than that, does it! Oh, and the beer is just so yummy! From here, it's only another 35min to get to Willowview Farmstay.

Berrima is worth a day trip if you are staying longer at Willowview Farmstay or if you want to stop at another great historic village! Only a short drive of 35min north.

Wineries on the way can extend the drive south or north, however.

Again one of the beautiful spots that are worth a trip. Booking a stay with Jan at her Willowview Farmstay will help her look after all the beautiful animals! Let's help our community, let's help our farmers and educate ourselves and our children!
