Willow Pond has over 2 hectares of picturesque landscaped gardens; surrounding a wonderful ornamental lake and cascading water fall. If you are in the area, stop in for a break, but be sure to take a camera- there are some stunning views.

There is plenty of parking available with a huge carpark located right outside the buildings. If you follow the paths out the back, you are immediately greeted by the sounds of the water fall gushing and the sounds of native birds singing their happy songs. Before you enter the restaurant, make sure to take a tour of the grounds and take in all the plants and trees that make this restaurant a truly unique place to visit.

Take a peek at the zen gardens. A beautiful 'dry garden' that has 15 various sized rocks that are arranged in a way that any viewer can only see 14, no matter where they stand. It is said that if you achieve a highly spiritual zen state while staring at the rocks, then you can find the final stone.

The raked lines in the sand are circular around the stones, but straight everywhere else. Yet the lines stop when they get near the pebbles and become circular without breaking the lines. This creates a sort of tension, that makes the viewer contemplate the mystery of zen.

Willow Pond actually consists of 2 venues, an award winning restaurant, Ramons at Willow Pond and The Willow Pond Reception Centre.

Ramon's at Willow Pond is a fully licensed restaurant offering a delicious range of modern cuisine, including chicken, steak and seafood dishes. With seats for about 90 people indoors and 200 in the alfresco area which overlooks the beautiful gardens and a large open lawn area.

Breakfast at Willow Pond is a wonderful way to start your Sunday. In a relaxed atmosphere, sitting outside in the sun, overlooking the remarkable gardens and lake.

The Blueberry Pancakes, with syrup, cream and ice cream - $12.00 – are delicious. For something simpler, try some toast or a Croissant with jam - $4.50. if you want more, try a Big Breakfast of eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, chipolata, grilled tomato and toast for $18.95.

Morning and afternoon tea's are always a treat at Willow Pond. Choose from Scones with Jam and Cream, cheesecake, chocolate éclairs and many more decadent deserts from around the $5.00 mark, with a cappuccino - ($4.00) from one of their baristas.

Don't forget to try their meals too- with modest prices, great service and plenty of specials available every day.

The function centre caters for events such as weddings, birthdays and conventions. We attended a wedding there a couple of years ago and it was magnificent – so if your looking for a place to hold you wedding, birthday or other special event check this place out.

Open 7 days a week, from 9am (8am on Sundays) till late for Sunday Morning Breakfast, lunch dinner, morning or afternoon tea. Bookings are not essential- there is enough seats available for everyone. The more, the merrier.
