On the 10th of September, the streets of the Chatswood CBD will come alive with joyous sounds, eye-catching colour and sublime smells to make your tummy grumble and mouth water. It's time for the Willoughby Street Fair, a major highlight of the broader Willoughby City Council Spring Festival.

Taking over the streets of the Chatswood CBD will be over 100 stalls selling all sorts of treasures, some edible, some wearable and much more. Some of the fab wares that will be on offer include arts and crafts, jewellery, fashion, plants and fresh produce for you to take home. If you're after something readily edible, there will be a plethora of food to sample. Stalls selling cuisines from all over the world will be scattered around the streets, with something for every mood. You can also settle in for the steamy Barista competition to see which barista crafts the best cup of coffee.

On the entertainment front, there is the Dance Extravaganza Stage. This is where the official fair opening will occur at 10am and from then on, there will be dancing and singing aplenty. The traditional Aboriginal dance troupe Diramu Dancers will kick things off for the day, then there will be much more to come, from The Rock and Soul Choir, Australian Jow Ga Kung Fu Academy, Inspire! Belly Dance and the Chatswood Musical Society to name a few.

For more entertainment there is the Big Band Arena on Spring St, the Y-Lounge in Chatswood Mall, showcasing the undiscovered talent of the local youth and for the little kiddies, they can be kept engaged all day in front of the Kid Stage on The Concourse, which will be transformed into a circus playground.

For something more environmentally minded visit "Sustainability St". You can get tips on water and energy efficiency, solar power and there's also some face painting and mad science experiments to get the kids involved.

You can download your very own pocket guide to the fair to make sure you don't miss a thing. So come out and join in the fun, getting immersed in all the Willoughby Street Fair wonder.
