Searching for Home Wares and Gifts with a Difference?
Nowadays there are huge monoliths of stores to choose homewares and gifts from. Department stores have huge displays and shelves full of products, but they often all look very similar. The individual creation is hard to find.
That is why markets can be such havens for those who like to browse for something different and special. But even markets can have generic and mass produced products on offer. Willunga Gallery offers something special. Enter this gallery and you are in the world of individual creations.
A selection of items are handmade by local artists
A selection of items are handmade by local artists. Among the curiosities the keen shopper will find are jewellery, books, home produce, art, Leunig cards, lamps, photographs and linen bags to name but a few of the times on offer. A real trove of handmade quality items.
The place to visit is 29 High Street in Willunga. For those seeking the work of local and interstate artists, designers and craftspeople, this is definitely the place. Willunga Gallery is owned and managed by local artist and Willunga resident Irene Dougan. It is open Monday 11am – 4pm, Tuesday to Thursday closed. Friday 10am – 4pm, Saturday 10am – 4pm and Sunday 11am – 4pm.
