William Stuart Park is AWESOME! The playground area was upgraded in 2015 with new equipment and improvements to the grounds. There are a few reasons why this park is special to the surrounding community.

This park may be small but it caters for a wide range of ages. If you have a teenager that moans about going anywhere, it's worth mentioning that there is a Skate Park close by.


Close by there is an IGA that sells hot food. Get a roast chicken into the kids for lunch, take a book and kick back while the kids play. During the summer when rain is minimal its still a nice park, the grounds are well maintained with large bins provided.

This is one of my favorite parks, it's central to several schools so it is an easy one for after school play.

Where Is William Stuart Park?

The playground is situated in Touriga Street, Thornlands.
(Off Of Vintage Drive) and the Skate Park is in walking distance.



Alternatively, if you want to park at the Skate Park to unload bikes and boards, this is on Cleveland-Redland Bay Road just before the Island Outlook Avenue turn off.
