The restaurant is open only during the college term dates and it provides the students with an opportunity to practice their cooking and service skills. On the whole it's a great way for customers to enjoy a dining experience and for the students to practice with 'real customers'. The value however is excellent and the food spectacular.
Roasted chicken breast, risotto bianco, grapes, basil and ver jus
The menu is generally quite limited in terms of variety. They offer 3 entrees, 3 mains, 3 desserts and a couple of sides. We began our meal with a beetroot relish which was just heavenly. I am not a great fan of beetroot, but this entree makes me want to go back for more. It was immaculate in its presentation and surely set the tone for the evening.
Another sure winner was the duck entree. A unique presentation and a winning dish.
