Burrendah Reserve in Willetton explodes into life on Sunday, April 8, 2018 from 10:00am until 4:00pm with the Willetton Rotary Annual Community Fair.
A fun, family-friendly atmosphere, the Willetton Rotary Community Fair attracts thousands of locals and visitors throughout the day. Alcohol and smoke-free, this local community outdoor event caters for a wide range of cultural and community interests, including recognising and respecting the Aboriginal culture and history of Canning.
This annual event gives local business, charities, schools and others the chance to display their wares and activities in a safe environment. Many stalls, free entry and family friendly free activities, ensure a fun day at the fair.
This community day combines the fun of a market with many arts and crafts stalls, international food stalls and all-day entertainment; plus, the excitement of the fair ground with rides and show bags.
This vibrant annual event ensures the perfect family day out with all your favourite carnival rides and showbags, a fantastic line-up of live entertainment, interactive family activities, a diverse range of over 150 local stallholders and exhibitors and so much more.
The main stage
In keeping with the 'Rotary' theme, continuous free, onstage, family-friendly music and entertainment, abound all day. Family activities rock
The Fair has an emphasis on family activities - past events have included a climbing wall, cardboard castle, archery, building toys, a SciTech interactive display, farm animals and various rides, including camels and trains. Come on down and see what exciting activities this year has to offer. These activities are always a highlight and are hugely popular with event-goers of all ages. Enjoy a day out on the green and all the fun of the fair.
From talented local artists and artisans showcasing their wares to small businesses and not for profit charities promoting their services and musicians and bands performing continuous entertainment on stage, the Willetton Rotary Community Fair celebrates the very best of the community.
The Rotary Club is running a Silent Auction and a sausage sizzle and has stalls for Sno-cones, plants, homemade cakes, jams and other goods. This is a chance for a snack while grabbing some bargains. Steve Palliser from Escape Kayaks is donating a kayak to the 'Silent Auction'. Drop by his stall and have your kayaking questions answered."
