We are excited that Wildlife Queensland is starting the year with a wonderful presentation. Tim Low will be presenting his award-winning new book The New Nature.

Tim Low is a biologist and best-selling author of seven books about nature and conservation. Tim is the guest speaker for the next meeting of Wildlife Queensland Brisbane Branch on Sunday 5 February 2023 from 12.30pm to 3pm at THECA's Environment Hut, at 47 Fleming Road, Chapel Hill. A light lunch will be available from 12.30 and the talk will begin at 1.15.

Tim will discuss the content of his book, The New Nature, which was praised by Time magazine, and listed by Who magazine as one of the books of the year. Tim's book Where Song Began: Australia's Birds and How They Changed the World, became best-seller and won the Australian Book Industry Award for best general non-fiction. An earlier book, Feral Future, inspired the formation of a national NGO, the Invasive Species Council. Tim has been a member of Wildlife Queensland for more than 45 years and served for a decade on its council.
