Whether you are into small, cute and fluffy or smooth, scaly and feathery, The Ginger Factory has you covered with their FREE petting and reptile displays during the coming winter school holiday programme, appropriately called Wildlife.
Why not take a walk on the wild side and spend the whole day at The Ginger Factory with the family and enjoy up close and personal contact with some very exciting animals. There are going to be a large variety of animals, so the displays have been split between the two week school holiday period. Which basically means you might have to visit The Ginger Factory at least twice during the school holidays to ensure the family get to enjoy all the animals.

If cute and fluffy (definitely mine!) is your preference when it comes to wild animals, then be sure to visit The Ginger Factory in the first week of the school holidays from Monday 2 July to Friday 6 July between 9.30am and 12.30pm. Experience first-hand the fun and cuddly petting display with the cute and fluffies, making new friends with the baby chickens, bunny rabbits and guinea pigs. You might even spot a sleepy koala or two, trying to catch some shut-eye, during the first week of adorable cuties.
The second week of the school holidays at The Ginger Factory is promising visitors an array of stunning birds as well as colourful reptiles. The second week for our feathery and reptilian friends runs from Monday 9 July until Friday 13 July between 9.30am and 12.30pm.
Entry to The Ginger Factory as well as The Ginger Factory's School Holiday Wildlife Shows is totally FREE and not even registration is required. It's as easy as simply arriving on your preferred day!

The Ginger Factory have their own fascinating animals and native wildlife to be found in their lush, exotic gardens, so keep an eye out for the roaming locals, whilst enjoying a walk. Walter, the Water Dragon just loves to bask in the sun, so be on the lookout for him too…Walter and his friends are usually somewhere in the vicinity of the Ginger Cafe. If you're a bird lover, then The Ginger Factory have more than thirty different bird species enjoying the flourishing surrounds too.
I'm not sure what birds you'll see, but the kookaburra is one of my favourites! Image: picman2 Pixabay CC0 Creative Commons
Pack a picnic lunch and enjoy the picnic tables and chairs that are thoughtfully placed all around the grounds at The Ginger Factory. Perhaps Moreton the historic train might tempt you to take a ride or two through the beautifully manicured gardens; or go on a treasure hunt in search of the gingerbread man, as you travel around the world on the Overboard rides. Moreton the Train and the Overboard rides both incur a fee.
