Wireless Hill can be found off Canning Highway in between Ardross and Alfred Cove. It is well known for its selection of trails in the mix of native fauna and flora with a backdrop of the Swan River and city.

On Sunday, 11 September, Friends of Wireless Hill will be hosting a wildflower walk. Starting at 9 am from the central cark park on Wireless Hill, visitors will be able to see wildflowers in full bloom. The added bonus is that there will be an expert guide talking about the wildflowers in bloom, what they are called and possibly their scientific name. While the latter may be important, I feel just knowing what to look for would be a benefit to me, personally.

Besides seeing nature in its wild and wonderful state, I would recommend you take a camera. At this time of the day you are bound to get an amazing shot of a wildflower in full bloom.

The walk is expected to last between 1 to 1.5 hours and is wheelchair accessible. This is a free event and there is no need to book.
