I love walking, and I love eating good food. The more I eat, the more I need to walk, so I plan to walk all around the world, eating good food, at nice places. It's a worthwhile quest and I'd love you to follow at www.walkeatshare.wordpress.com

Tea Magic in Port Elliot
Hill Street, in Port Elliot's industrial estate, doesn't stop surprising us with its funky shops and cafes. There's Bar None pop-up, Sally's Seconds, De Groot Coffee Co and the wonderful Wildfire Organic Tea shed.

It's not hard to find and you'll see a sign on the main road to help you find your way. The shed is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am till 4pm.

The shed is appropriately designed with tea chest walls as a backdrop to comfy sofa areas and small sitting nooks.

You can choose to sit inside or out with a pretty garden to admire nearby.

Wildfire is the project of Jane Burke, a tea aficionado who started her business in 2015. In her very first year, Jane's Peace Time Tea won the prestigious Golden Leaf Award, for Best Rooibos Blend, at the Australian and International Tea Expo. This sweet and relaxing brew has raw, Peruvian, single origin cacao, red rose petals and vanilla to accompany the rooibos leaves.

Jane's other varieties include Chillax, designed to calm and relax the tea drinker with a blend of chamomile, rosemary, peppermint, lemon balm, cornflowers and heather flowers.

Then there's The Ginger Ninja tea, with lemongrass, ginger, lemon peel and hops flowers, also a relaxing blend.

There are teas to uplift, help you focus, assist in weight loss and aid cardiovascular health. Or you can blend your own.

You'll find teapots, cups and other essential tea-making equipment available for purchase at the shed.

A pot of tea for two people costs $5.50 and there are snacks available including seasonal platters, nourish bowls, raw cakes and bliss balls.

As well as hot tea blends, there are Botanical Tea Lattes and Iced Tea varieties to enjoy.

After much indecision due to being spoilt for choice, I settled on a pot of Peace Time Tea and a bliss ball during my recent visit to Wildfire.

I purchased a packet of South Coast Black Tea to take home.

It's such a beautiful looking tea with its large black leaves and vibrant blue cornflowers. And the taste is divine.

Is that blue pea tea at the moment? I've tried that before too; it's very nice, and changes colour when you add lemon.
