Could you see yourself camping like this?
Glamping, the art of camping with all modern conveniences and luxuries. Wilderness Retreats do it especially well. Their motto is being far from civilisation doesn't mean you can't be civilised.

If you love the natural beauty of the outdoors but just do not want to go without creature comforts, you can now escape to a wilderness retreat.

Upon arrival you will discover a luxury safari style tent. Wilderness Retreats promise low impact accommodation which touches the Earth lightly, whilst still allowing you to get closer to the environment.

Wilderness retreats glamping sites are now located at Wilsons Promontory, Cape Conran and Buchanan Caves in Victoria's Gippsland Ranges.

If the idea of camping without modern conveniences is not your idea of an enjoyable experience, you may like to give this a go.

The tents all have timber floors and decks, chairs and tables, a refrigerator and the best part is that they have queen size beds complete with doonas and lovely crisp hotel linen.

There's a communal kitchen where you can cook if you want to and an outdoor BBQ area - a lovely way to relax after a day of hiking in the wilderness.
