Winter school holidays are just around the corner and parents everywhere will be scrambling for activities to keep the children entertained. Get ready kids - it's time to flutter and fly at Wild Wings , the special winter workshop series, launched by Sunshine Coast Council , and to be held at two of the Sunshine Coast's most-loved reserves - Maroochy Regional Bushland Botanic Gardens and Maroochy Wetlands Sanctuary . Wild Wings is offering a diverse variety of arts-based activities aimed at getting young imaginations soaring.

Wild Wings' creative workshops will explore native birds, butterflies, moths and dragonflies through the medium of paint, clay and costume. Local artists work closely with children as they create and learn about their environmental subjects.
