An exclusive showcase of handcrafted contemporary textiles

Mt Coot-tha Botanical Gardens comes alive with Wild Things!

Local Brisbane textile artists, Wendy Bailye and Sharyn Hall, are proudly presenting their 11th annual selling exhibition of exclusive handcrafted contemporary textiles in the air-conditioned Richard Randall Art Studio, Brisbane Botanical Gardens this November and December.

This wonderfully creative event runs from Wednesday 27th November to Sunday 8th December and is not to be missed. Entry is FREE.

Imagine a thoroughly relaxing Christmas shopping experience in a heritage-listed building, surrounded by fabulous gardens.

Come and peruse a unique selection of beautifully displayed handmade collectible arts, made with priceless individuality and an emphasis on natural materials.

Learn about new and traditional textile techniques and speak to the friendly artists who create the wonderful works of art inspired by their travels and adventures!

There will be something for everyone on your Christmas list with a diverse range of handmade textile treasures to choose from, including hand-printed, painted, felted & stitched wearables, accessories & homewares, wall art, handcrafted jewellery, cards and art journals and more.

It is a great feeling to buy handmade, sustainable goods from people who have put their heart and soul into creating them. Buying handmade and local is such a treat for the purchaser, as well as the giftee. Customers love that each piece has its own story in its making!

There will also be a studio de-stash area where textile treasures, art supplies, samples and seconds will be sold at bargain prices. This stock changes daily, so enjoy a browse and take home a bargain!

Once the Christmas shopping is done, you can enjoy a bite to eat and coffee at the lovely gardens café!

This exhibition will be open to the public from 9am to 4pm daily at the Richard Randall Art Studio, Brisbane Botanical Gardens, Mt Coot-tha.

With only TWELVE days to shop, come and spend time in the gardens, shop for the perfect Christmas gifts and enjoy lunch at the cafe!

Entry is free and both artists will be present at the exhibition.
