Wild Canary is organising a Producers Lunch on Thursday the 23rd of February 2017 and this means that you can spend time in the presence and company of producers, people who are passionate about food and, best of all, you are able to taste and sample the produce. Glenn Barratt is on hand to create and present a five course degustation menu for you from produce in the Granite Belt and Southern Downs. This means you will hear stories from producers on what they have to offer and what it takes for them to get this special produce to the table for you.
Some of the producers you will be meeting:
Tim Somes — Eggcettera Long paddock lamb, free range pork, pastured eggs
David and Roslyn Sutton — Sutton's Farm Apple ciders, vinegar, apples, stone fruit, juice
Allan and Carissa — A&C Games Meats Wild venison
Holly and Justin — New View Farm Permaculture farm, vegetables and flowers
TIME: 11.00am arrival for a 11.30am start
