As part of the Boroondara Council's School Holiday Activity program, the Ashburton Library hosted a visit from the Wild Action Zoo. Amazingly tickets were free, and we were lucky to snag them before they ran out.

It was such a wonderful hour. The zoo keeper, whose name I, unfortunately, didn't get, was fantastic with the kids. She taught them about all of the different animals she had with her, and patiently took each animal around the room so the children could pat it if they wanted to.

She had such a wonderful array of animals with her. Miss 5 and Miss 7 bravely held snakes, turtles, lizards, frogs, and more. Their absolute favourite, and the lucky last animal, was the joey.

Wild Action offers visits to kindergartens and schools. I would highly recommend a visit from them as an educational tool for children about Australian animals.
