Weekends are for adventures
Enjoy the tranquil beauty of Wickham Timber Reserve, a Eucalypt bushland located behind Logan Village.

The journey to Wickham Peak itself is a family-friendly 3 kilometre return trip. The wide trail is ideal for basking in the surroundings, and serves as a gentle introduction for younger hikers. As the trail begins to ascend, however, the terrain becomes quite rocky and requires more diligent navigation. It is certainly worthwhile to spend some time exploring the fascinating rock formations and impressive sandstone outcrops.

Upon reaching the lookout at Wickham Peak, visitors are rewarded with views of Brisbane City to the North and Mt Barney to the South. Avid hikers may choose to extend their journey by continuing along a connector trail to the Grass Tree Lookout.

The trail is very well signed but does require a reasonable level of fitness. Dogs are permitted but must remain on a leash.
