For a tantalisingly delicious breakfast, look no further than Glenhuntly's . Despite the deceptively plain exterior, the quaint cafe serves breakfast unrivalled by anything else in the area.

I ordered two poached eggs with wholemeal toast and avocado feta on the side. Everything about my breakfast was perfect, although the serving size may not be adequate for those with a big appetite. The avocado feta mash gave it quite the kick, and nothing was oily as is often the case with cafe breakfasts.

Breakfast bagels are something of a specialty of theirs. While there are a few different bagel dishes given on their menu, the way to go seems to be specifying what you want with your bagel and eggs from a large list of extras.

The interior is superbly decorated, but the best place to sit is the leafy courtyard. Breezy but secluded, it boasts plenty of seating. While it is tucked away behind the cafe, the staff will not forget about you with their impeccable service. Wait times were short and they successfully brought out all of our food at the same time.

Located on Glenhuntly Road near the train station, there are plenty of shops near but few that you'd want to visit. There are however a few deliciously cheap highlights of the shopping strip including Shu-Mart Discount Shoes and Darn Cheap Fabrics .
