I write, read, travel, garden, renovate, work, drink coffee - all the usual things. My lovely partner often accompanies me, and of course my constant companions, two feisty terriers, are never far from my side. We live in and enjoy South Australia.

The Whyalla Show is on Saturday August 17th and Sunday 18th, at Jubilee Park this year and will be one of the best yet!
Kids entertainment includes the Amazing Drumming Monkeys, and James' Traveling Magic Show. Visit Old MacDonalds Traveling Farm and Eyre Reptiles to get close to some scaly and some adorable critters. The adults will love the entertainment too!
Prepare to run away and join the Circus by learning some circus skills, and enjoy the fun and spectacle of acts including the Griffini Show, the Water Drops, and the Giant Teddy Bears!
Vintage and Classic Cars will be a smash hit; check out the theme for this year. Visit the Woodies Shed for wood turning wonders, the Quilters and CWA and other displays and demonstrations that you will only find in SA's spectacular shows. Oh! Don't miss the Model Railway, or the Horses in Action!
Don't miss the Saturday Night Fireworks! Bring the family! Then send the kids home to bed and a sitter, while you get yourselves along to the food court marquee for music by Red and request a favourite (music from 6pm - 8pm) and stay for the Comedy Hour, starring Marc Ryan the Beautiful Bogan! Laugh till you feel sick! (Comedy show starts 8:30pm) Check out the Site Map so you know where to find everything. The Whyalla Show will be open 10am - 10pm Saturday and 10am - 3pm Sunday.
Admission prices are Adults $12 Saturday, $8 Sunday. Concessions $8 Saturday and $6 Sunday. Children up to 16yrs $6 Saturday and $4 Sunday. Under 4yrs old Free with a paying Guardian. There are also weekend passes and Member prices, so please check the full Ticketing price list.
