Whyalla Beach Cafe - view from the park - Photo by Allan
The Whyalla Beach Café offers quality dining and is situated in an attractive location between the Ada Ryan Gardens, the park and the ocean. The food is restaurant quality, which places this way ahead of any beach-side fish-and-chip shop.

Friendly staff ready to serve customers
When we visited in January 2017, lunch specials included:
Salt and pepper squid with fish and chips $16.50
Spenser Gulf crumbed garfish with chips and salad $17
Homemade quiche with chips and salad $17.50
Beef schnitzel, chips and gravy $12.90
Combo lamb or chicken yiros wrap $15
Roast beef with gravy and chips $14
A dessert treat includes a plate of scones for $9.5

Scones and mains
The café is open from 8 am seven days a week and also serves an excellent cup of cappuccino. I ordered crumbed prawns and dipping sauce for a special treat. The food was served hot and fresh with just that touch of superiority that makes a meal worth buying.
