Why You Should Cook Your Own Food

I have a few reasons why you should cook your own food at home.
Personally, I hardly ever like the dining seats, the music, the noise, etc.
At home, I can have my own kitchen table with my loved ones.
What else is there?
Portion Control
You can eat in moderation. You can watch your calorie, sugar and carb intake easier than when dining in a restaurant!
No enticing fancy drinks to want. Just drink some water at home!
Affordable
Whether you are at a fancy sit down restaurant or a fast food drive-thru, you are going to fork out some cash.
When dining at home, you can buy your own groceries, especially on sale, on clearance, with coupons, etc.
You Know What Is In Your Food
Do you honestly know what is in your food?
For example, I like tuna. I like tuna salad, Acapulco Tuna Salad (from the cookbook by JoAnna M. Lund called
Party Fare), tuna sandwiches, etc. Well, I happened to find out that tuna has mercury inside of it and that we are advised to only consume tuna twice a week so as not to get mercury poisoning.
Finally, why not get out those cookbooks collecting dust and prepare a new recipe once a week? Personally, I frequently write cookbook reviews on WeekendNotes. Maybe you could read about some new recipes and then take a copy of the cookbook out of your local library.
Voila!
