Why Read Novels? @ Marion Cultural Centre

City of Marion Libraries is celebrating Library Lovers Day, on Thursday, 14 February 2019, with a free seminar titled 'Why Read Novels' being held from 1.30pm until 2.30pm in Marion Cultural Centre's Sturt Room. Registration is via Eventbrite . 'Why Read Novels?' will feature Flinders University PhD candidate, Todd Dearing who will focus on discussing the philosophy of literature and findings from a recent Macquarie University study on the reasons why Australians read and how these findings relate to society's experience of novel reading. Attendees will be provided with a free show bag and the opportunity to fill the show bag with books from the library's Adopt-a-Book display.

For further information on this event and other events of City of Marion Libraries (Cove Civic Centre, Marion Cultural Centre and Park Holme) - follow City of Marion Libraries Eventbrite page .
