Whiteman Park offers 4000 hectares of park and bushland complemented by museums, wildlife and birds centres and even its own tram and steam train, all for you to enjoy with your kids this school holiday. However, for more structured school holiday activity, the park also hosts a range of budget friendly programs covering a wide range of interests to keep your little folk thoroughly entertained and educated whilst away from the classroom.

What's On
This school holiday there are five programs on offer.

Ranger Roger Show: Kids get to spend an hour with Ranger Roger and learn all about the animals and plants within the beautiful Whiteman Park. Sessions will include singing, dancing and games and an introduction to Gerty the Goanna.

Billy the Bushranger Session: Kids will learn all about bushranging and what's involved in addition to listening to Bushranger Billy spin a yarn or two about the olden days.

Bizircus Show: This popular show will keep kids thoroughly entertained through the medium of circus tricks, juggling, acrobatics, illusion, rapping and comedy. Definitely a must for young circus fans.

Spring Flower Pot Decoration: creative kids or those that are developing green fingers will love taking part in this hands on workshop where they'll each take home a decorated flower pot that's embedded with Swan River daisy seeds which they can then see develop and bloom at home.

Bicycle Blitz: Taking place at the Revolutions Museum adjacent to the Benner Brook Railway, prepare to be surprised in finding bicycles in some very strange places. Kids can learn about all things bicycle related in addition to getting involved in crafts where they'll be able to take home made decorations for their bikes. There's also games, puzzles and a great competition. Best of all this activity is for a gold coin donation and is taking place everyday of the school holidays.

Finally, in addition to these wonderful activities, the Whiteman Park Pottery Centre are running their 'play with clay' classes where kids can let their imagination take over to create some wonderful pottery masterpieces using the tools and equipment supplied.
