Sometimes work can be tiring.

You know those days when you're slammed with a thousand tasks which are competing with emails and "small (but urgent) favours" that your colleagues dump on you last minute? Those times where you have so much work that you aren't even sure where to start? Yeah sometimes work can be really tiring. In these moments of frenzy I find it always helps to take a short walk and regroup. These short walks however tend to always lead me to White Henry.

Nestled between a few office buildings, a carpark and the Westfield shopping centre this place really is a hidden gem. I'd like to think White Henry is my little secret and keep it all to myself but it isn't so secret anymore. This relatively new, and once quiet café is now often filled with people enjoying the delights White Henry has to offer. The word got out, the coffee is damn good.

When I say 'good' I mean it. So good that I will happily walk in the rain to get it rather than grabbing a coffee from the café below my workplace. The coffee beans are also for sale and I can personally say they make a delicious cup of cold drip!
Not a coffee fan? There is also a range of other drinks available and alternatives to dairy milk. The Chai is particularly delicious, so scrumptious that my colleague refuses to get one anywhere else.

If you are feeling peckish there is a range of different treats, and no matter the weather there is an option for any season. On cold wintery days you can enjoy nice warm soups and pies to and when the weather heats up there is Bircher Muesli, fresh salads and sandwiches on offer.

If you head down to White Henry between 2.30pm and 3.30pm you can enjoy coffee at Happy Hour rates and pair it will a sugary treat for those afternoon slumps. Even during the busiest periods of the day you won't be waiting for long.

Always greeted with a smile

When you do find yourself having one of the aforementioned stressful days you'll likely leave the café feeling refreshed. This isn't just because of the coffee and food, but the friendly staff you'll come across. This bunch are always full of smiles and laughter leaving you with a smile too.
