White Collar Season 2 is very good. It follows the continued adventures conman Neal Caffrey and his partner and friend Agent Peter Burke as they continue to take down White Collar criminals all over New York City.
The story follows on from the shocking tragedy of the previous season (I'm not giving too much away). Neal is still reeling and is obsessed with revenge. Peter must do his best to keep his friend in check before he gets himself or those he loves hurt.
Tiffani Thiessen returns as Burke's loyal but long suffering wife, she is an excellent character and is convincing match for Dekay as Burke. Willie Garson also comes back again as Mozzie – Neal's partner in crime.
There is also the introduction of Sara Ellis, insurance investigator and possible love interest for Caffrey. She is sexy, brilliant and untouchable and at least initially, very much a tool for Caffrey to get what he wants but as the mystery of the series goes on his feelings for he start to shift.
This series reaches new heights in terms of silly plot lines and capers but you are so absorbed in the characters by this stage that you are totally there with the characters as they pick locks, chase bad guys and steal jewels!
Season 2 is also interesting because it delves into Neal's and Peter's past, how they met, the chase across Europe and how their relationship evolved.
The ending is also awesome. A great series and I would recommend it to absolutely everyone.
