If you are a fan of banana lollies, then this is the dessert for you. My sister made this treat a few months ago and it was love at first bite.
You will need:
Makes 16250g packet plain un-iced biscuits
200g packet banana lollies (chopped)
50g unsalted butter (melted)
395g can sweetened condensed milk
240g white chocolate (chopped)
50g Copha
Instructions:
1. Grease a 26x16cm pan and line with baking paper.
2. Grind biscuits to make a light crumb. Put in a large bowl and add banana lollies, butter and milk. Combine well.
3. Press mixture into pan and smooth surface. Chill until topping is ready.
4. Put chocolate and Copha in a small heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water, making sure the bowl does not touch the water. Cook and stir until melted and smooth.
5. Once bowl is removed from heat, pour the chocolate mixture over chilled slice and smooth over.
6. Chill slice until set (around 3 hrs). Cut slice into squares and serve.
This slice is perfect for birthday parties or any time you feel like a sugar fix.
